Quality Control Inspector
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Quality Control Inspector in Arab AL, to perform receiving, in process, final and/or lab certification testing on components/materials received and finished products manufactured. You will apply a working knowledge of GD&T principles and applications.

Schedule and Hours
1st shift : Mon-Thurs 5am-3:30 (Fridays optional)
1st shift : Mon-Thurs 5am-3:30 (Fridays optional)
2nd shift : Mon-Thurs 3:15pm-1:45am (Fridays optional)
Quality Control Inspector Duties and Responsibilities
- Pull / Verify CMM Reports and 2D Matrix Reports
- Verify Certifications, utilize a basic understanding of visual management system (GYRO)
- Identify non-conforming material with NCMRs and Red tags
- Inspect laser patterns, complete DHR Review
- Use handheld inspection tools for measurement purposes, such as micrometers, calipers, height gages, optical compactor, gage block, and dial indicators.
- Ensure all raw materials received meet specifications.
- Perform testing and inspection at various stages of production, including visual and dimensional inspection.
- Ensure customer specifications and other applicable internal / external requirements are followed.
- Maintain accurate documentation at all times during the manufacturing and inspection process of Good Manufacturing Practices.
Quality Control Inspector Qualifications and Requirements
- Ability to stand, bend, move around consistently
- Ability to communicate and exchange information with others
- Must be able to distinguish and detect information such as defects and writing
- Ability to work in a noisy environment
- Quality Control experience (6 months minimum required)
- Advocate for health and safety of self, co-workers, customers, and the community
- Support quality and compliance by adhering to all procedures, work instruction, and forms per the Quality Management Systems (QMS)
