Quality Control TechnicianAs the Quality Control Technician, you will follow established procedures and guidelines to check, test, and inspect raw materials, goods in process, and finished goods. You will compare the physical characteristics of components, materials, equipment, and products to technical specifications to identify defects. As well as conduct simple tests (for example on electrical function, reliability, packaging quality); record results and prepare simple technical reports.SHIFT: This will be a Monday-Thursday position, 6AM to 4:30PMYou will be located at PPG's Euclid, OH plant, and report to the Quality Services Manager. Diploma or GED required2+ years of lab testing experienceExperience with Excel and Microsoft suite productsCommunication skills (both oral and written)Mathematical skills and basic chemistry preferred
