This individual ensures that inspected products conform to McCrometer and customer expectations, specifications, and requirements. The role requires strong working knowledge of inspection processes, the ability to make sound decisions, accurately document results, and work under minimal supervision./ppThis position is part of the Quality Department, located in Hemet, CA, and will be on-site./ph3In This Role, A Typical Day Will Look Like:/h3p Promoting and maintaining quality standards and culture throughout the production and inspection processes./pp Reading and interpreting specifications, drawings, and work instructions to understand product requirements./pp Performing a variety of inspectionsincluding visual, dimensional, functional, and conformance checksto ensure products meet established specifications and regulatory requirements./pp Recording inspection results accurately and maintaining quality documentation in accordance with established standards./pp Reporting and communicating product rejections or non-conformances to relevant departments./pp Developing product inspection plans as part of continuous process improvement initiatives./pp Providing technical support for problem identification, leading root cause investigations, and supporting resolution of quality issues./pp Completing assignments related to internal defects and non-conformances, often requiring cross-functional coordination./pp Supporting Quality KPI targets and continuous improvement activities aligned with the Veralto Enterprise System (VES)./pp Maintaining clean, safe, and organized work areas and assisting in training team members when needed./ph3The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include:/h3p High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred./pp Minimum of 2 years experience in inspection, measurement, or monitoring work within a manufacturing environment./pp Strong mathematical skills and proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel) and Word./pp Solid understanding of mechanical assembly, testing, and inspection processes./pp Ability to read and interpret written instructions, blueprints, specifications, and sketches./pp Experience using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges./pp Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work./pp Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams./pp Flexibility and adaptability to manage time and projects effectively./ppMcCrometer is proud to be part of the Water Quality segment of Veralto (NYSE: VLTO), a $5B global leader dedicated to ensuring access to clean water, safe food and medicine, and trusted essential goods.
