Overview Client: Major Consumer Products Client Position: Quality Control Technician Duration: 6+ Months Contract Location: Plainsboro, NJ 08543 Pay Rate: $23.00-$25.00/ Hr on W2 Note: Description: Shift: First Shift – 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM The QC Technician is responsible for conducting quality control analyses, entering and reporting results, and processing quality-related deviations to ensure products meet defined standards. This role helps ensure manufactured products are safe, reliable, and compliant with internal and external requirements, while supporting overall customer satisfaction and operational excellence. Responsibilities Perform Lab Tests: Independently conduct routine quality control analyses following established testing procedures. Data Integrity & Documentation: Manage all steps of testing, including sample preparation, execution, and accurate documentation of results. Review Results: Verify test results for accuracy and consistency prior to submission. Report Deviations: Identify and report quality deviations (e.g., out-of-specification results) according to established protocols. Initial OOS Testing: Perform first-level investigation and testing for out-of-specification results as required. Escalate Issues: Recognize recurring or critical issues and escalate to the appropriate team or supervisor. Maintain Equipment: Ensure proper care, calibration, and basic maintenance of laboratory equipment in compliance with GMP and safety standards. Meet Timelines: Complete assigned testing and submit results within required deadlines. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety, health, and environmental (SHE) policies and guidelines. Operational Support: Perform additional tasks as needed to support laboratory operations. Top Skills Ability to independently perform routine laboratory testing. Flexibility to support various lab activities as needed. Familiarity with bench-top analytical instrumentation. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Science or a related field preferred.
