Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a dedicated Quality Control Technician to join their team. As a Quality Control Technician, you will be an integral part of the Quality Assurance department supporting production and inspection processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Quality Control Location: Watervliet, NY Pay Range: $20-$25 Shift: 8am to 4:30 Monday thru Friday What's the Job? Perform dimensional and visual inspections on incoming and outgoing products to ensure compliance with specifications. Utilize measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and electronic inspection equipment to verify product quality. Conduct basic electrical and mechanical testing, including high voltage electrical tests, to identify faults or defects. Generate detailed inspection reports and certifications for customers, maintaining accurate records of quality data. Participate in audits and collaborate with team members to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions. What's Needed? High School diploma or equivalent required; technical education with a focus on mathematics is preferred. One to two years of quality control experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Ability to interpret technical documents such as drawings, specifications, and procedures. Proficiency in using measuring tools and electronic inspection equipment.
