Quality Control PositionQuality control will maintain quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, finished products, and recording the results. Excellent communication and leadership skills are a must, as well as a keen attention to detail.Requirements:High school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of experience and educationOne year forklift operating experienceExperience in receiving, verifying quantities, signing freight bill in a warehouse environmentResponsibilities:Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damageAccurately count, verify UPC, make product shipping labels, label, and prepare for shippingMaintain a clean, neat, and orderly work areaMaintains quality and accuracy of inventory by inspecting freight and products for correct quantities and conditions and moving freight manually or with powered equipmentEnsure goals are met for unloading trailers by monitoring unloaders and arrival timesResearch product overages, shortages, and discrepancies via physical inspection or system analysisPerform picking duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service standardsFollow corporate and site-specific good manufacturing practices and report noncompliance when observedObserve all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriateOther duties as assigned
