In this role, you will serve as a key interface between customers, manufacturing locations, and global engineering teams to support issue resolution, failure analysis, and continuous quality improvement throughout the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities Build and maintain strong customer relationships to support customer satisfaction and program success
Support customer issue resolution activities related to receipt, assembly, and production concerns
Utilize structured problem-solving methods such as 5W2H, 8D, and root cause analysis to investigate quality issues
Support Safe Launch activities as an interface between OEM/Tier 1 customers and global teams
Serve as the primary point of contact for customer quality concerns and complaints for assigned programs
Coordinate containment, sorting, and isolation activities at customer production locations when required
Provide timely failure analysis (FA) reports in customer-required formats, including 8D reporting
Maintain reject tracking and communicate interim and permanent corrective actions to customers
Develop a strong understanding of customer applications and vehicle integration requirements
Lead customer complaint review and problem resolution meetings with cross-functional teams
Support detailed failure analysis activities using lab and diagnostic equipment
Train quality auditors on inspection methods, product acceptability, and material handling procedures
Requirements Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline (Equivalent automotive quality experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive Supplier Quality and/or Product Quality
Experience supporting OEM or Tier 1 automotive customers
Understanding of structured problem-solving methodologies (5W2H, 8D, FTA, etc.)
Experience performing or supporting failure analysis activities
Familiarity with diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, digital multimeters (DMM), and optical microscopes
Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong collaboration and leadership abilities within cross-functional teams
Qualifications Six Sigma Green Belt certification
Mandarin skills
Experience supporting Stellantis quality systems and customer requirements
