QUALITY ENGINEER - BRUGES (BELGIUM) - PERMANENT POSITIONAs a Quality Engineer, you are responsible for ensuring that products and processes consistently meet defined requirements throughout the manufacturing lifecycle. You contribute to stable, efficient production by monitoring quality performance, identifying risks and deviations, and driving structural improvements rather than short-term fixes.In this role, you work at the intersection of production, engineering, suppliers, and customers. You use data and structured problem-solving methods to analyze quality performance, support continuous improvement initiatives, and help prioritize actions based on impact and risk. You are involved early in new developments and process changes, provide quality input during validations, and support the organization in maintaining robust quality systems and audit readiness.The position offers a balanced mix of analytical work, on-the-floor support, and cross-functional coordination, making it well suited for someone who enjoys combining technical insight with practical problem-solving in a dynamic manufacturing environment.Your Responsibilities:Ensure products meet specifications, standards, and customer expectationsMonitor and analyze quality performance across production processesImprove inspection, testing, and measurement approachesPerform root cause analyses and drive corrective and preventive actionsSupport process optimization initiatives to reduce variation, scrap, and reworkMaintain and contribute to quality documentation and audit activitiesProvide quality input for new products, changes, and validation activitiesSupport production teams through training, guidance, and quality problem-solvingCoordinate supplier-related quality improvement actionsAnalyze field, customer, and return data to identify trends and set prioritiesYour Profile:Master’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environmentAnalytical and structured thinker with an interest in data-driven decision-makingFamiliar with common quality and continuous improvement methodologiesGood understanding of production processes and technical documentationClear communicator who works well with multidisciplinary teamsOrganized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple prioritiesHands-on mindset with attention to detail and a focus on sustainable solutionsThe Offer:A permanent, full-time employment contractA salary & benefits package commensurate with experiencePlease send over your CV to or call me on +32 (0) 3 318 00 74.
