Job Title Quality Engineer Pay Rate $35.00-40.00/hour Employment Onsite, full time, direct job with full benefits. Location Area Code: (Not specified) Shifts 1st Job Summary We are seeking a Quality Engineer to support the Operations Quality Manager in maintaining and improving quality systems, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving performance metrics across the organization. This role will play a key part in leading root cause investigations, implementing corrective actions, and strengthening overall operational quality within an aerospace manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Lead root cause and corrective action (RCCA) investigations using structured problem-solving tools such as 5 Whys, 8D, and Fishbone analysis Develop, implement, and monitor corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address and eliminate recurring issues Analyze quality data, process metrics, and defect trends to identify risks and drive continuous improvement initiatives Track CAPA progress, ensure timely closure, and verify effectiveness of implemented actions Support and maintain quality management systems, including updating procedures and documentation Perform risk assessments including PFMEA, Gage R&R, and control plan evaluations Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality and manufacturing processes Support shop floor quality activities and provide hands‑on guidance when needed Required Qualifications 3 or more years of experience in a quality engineering or quality systems role within the aerospace industry Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting Experience updating and maintaining quality procedures and documentation Familiarity with shop floor manufacturing environments Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities US Citizenship is required due to the nature of the work Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting internal audits in accordance with AS9100 and/or AS9110 standards Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP Working knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) Benefits Belcan provides a competitive pay and benefits package.
