Searching for a Quality Engineer with a strong foundation in lean manufacturing and ISO procedures.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, a strong background in plant quality, and significant experience with ISO standards, continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies.


Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in quality engineering.
  • Proficient knowledge of ISO standards and high-speed manufacturing quality processes.
  • Proven experience in continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma.
  • Additional Preferred Qualifications:
    • ASQ Certification or equivalent (CQA or CQT mandatory; CQE is a plus).
    • Experience with formal Quality Systems like ISO 9001, GMP/QSR, etc.

Essential Duties:
  • Supervision: Provide leadership by supervising assigned staff, conducting performance reviews, and addressing disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Quality Testing: Understand and perform quality testing following approved procedures.
  • Data Analysis: Regularly review quality data to identify opportunities for corrective and preventive actions.
  • Statistical Methods: Ensure the application of statistical methods in testing, validation, sampling, inspection, and quality investigations.
  • Team Leadership: Lead teams in quality system improvement, new product development, cost savings, and other quality initiatives.
  • Customer Complaints: Coordinate the resolution of customer complaints and non-conformance issues.
  • Supplier Assessment: Act as the primary QA contact in supplier assessment and raw material qualification activities.
  • Audits: Participate in internal and customer audits of the quality system.
  • Quality Records: Oversee the proper use and control of QA Department quality records.
  • Procedure Development: Devise or revise procedures related to the Quality Management System.
  • Reporting: Report significant issues or developments identified during quality activities and provide recommended process improvements to management.
  • Information Sharing: Prepare and present quality system information to team members.
  • Visitor Engagement: Conduct laboratory tours and provide Quality System explanations to visitors.
  • Safety: Observe all safety rules and use the proper safety equipment at all times.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Follow necessary GMP and regulatory requirements.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
