Salary:

The Quality Engineer will be responsible for driving customer satisfaction by implementing and sustaining effective quality assurance practices. This role will perform detailed inspections, proactively address quality concerns, and collaborate across departments to resolve issues efficiently. Utilizing strong problem-solving skills, the Quality Engineer will identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions that support continuous improvement and uphold the highest standards of product excellence throughout the production process.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



Ensure proper application and adherence to ISO 9001 standards through the development, implementation, and sustainability of key quality management processes:

  • Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA): Lead root cause analysis and implement effective corrective measures.
  • Control of IM&TE: Ensure all inspection, measurement, and test equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.
  • Control of Nonconforming Material: Manage identification, documentation, and disposition of nonconforming products.
  • PPAP / FAI: Oversee submission and validation to ensure conformance with customer requirements.
  • Control of Documented Information: Maintain accurate and compliant quality system documentation.
  • Quality Inspection: Conduct inspections and testing to verify compliance with standards.
  • Continual Improvement: Drive ongoing improvements to quality, efficiency, and process performance.
  • Auditing: Plan, conduct, and support internal and external audits for quality system compliance.
  • Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures.
  • Conduct inspections and tests to ensure product compliance with quality standards.
  • Analyze quality data, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement.
  • Serve as the main customer contact for APQP (FAI/PPAP), quality issue resolution, and warranty analysis.
  • Coordinate internal 8D/4-Step problem-solving activities and track progress.
  • Oversee scrap reduction efforts and maintain the MRB.
  • Support 3rd party certification audits and customer Quality System audits.
  • Provide training and administrative support for quality systems.
  • Indirectly lead employees and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.


Required Skills and Abilities:



  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools
  • Customer-focused with strong problem-solving and innovation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective cross-functional relationships
  • High level of accountability and sound decision-making under pressure
  • Commitment to continuous learning and supporting talent development


Education and Experience:



  • Associate's degree in Engineering (Quality, Manufacturing, or related field) or 3+ years of relevant experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with 1+ years of relevant experience preferred.
