Job Description

This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 standards, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborating cross-functionally to maintain product quality from design through production. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, hands-on experience with CAD design (SolidWorks preferred), and a deep understanding of manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems in compliance with ISO 9001 standards
  • Lead internal and external audits, including preparation, execution, and corrective action follow-up
  • Analyze manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for quality improvement, waste reduction, and efficiency gains
  • Perform problem identification, resolution, loss reporting and continuous improvement
  • Design and implement methods for process control, process improvement, testing and inspection
  • Develop, execute, and analyze quality reporting measures


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering
  • 3+ years of experience in a quality engineering role within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with ISO 9001 quality management systems
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks and other CAD software for design review and analysis
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, fabrication, assembly, etc.)
  • Experience with quality tools such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, FMEA, SPC, and 8D problem-solving
  • Analytical and quantitative approach to problem solving
