Job Title: Quality Engineer II

Role Overview
This position applies quality engineering principles and methods to ensure product compliance with regulatory standards and improve processes across product development, manufacturing, and distribution stages.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve moderate product quality and compliance issues across production (e.g., CAPA, non-conformances, audit observations). Develop reports and recommend solutions based on engineering analysis.
- Design and execute moderately complex experiments and tests to validate and improve products, materials, and manufacturing methods. Document and analyze results, recommending improvements.
- Use Six Sigma and Lean methods to optimize manufacturing processes, focusing on design for manufacturability and continuous improvement. Identify and implement equipment or tool modifications to enhance processes and reduce risk.
- Maintain and update technical risk management documentation.
- Develop training and documentation materials (e.g., work instructions) to facilitate knowledge transfer of project and manufacturing processes.
- Coordinate and support tasks, providing guidance and feedback to technicians conducting tests.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Strong documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, including negotiation and relationship management.
- Basic knowledge of statistical techniques.
- Experience with lab/industrial equipment.
- Solid grasp of engineering principles and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with quality systems and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teams and interact professionally with all organizational levels.
- Proven capability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
Educational & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in quality or process engineering.
