Job Description

Job Description
Build Quality That Actually Matters

At MasterMold LLC, quality isn’t a checkbox; it’s how we protect our customers, our processes, and our reputation. We manufacture high-quality fiberglass products in a fast-paced, hands-on environment where engineering judgment, problem-solving, and ownership matter every day.

We’re expanding our 2nd shift and Overnight Quality Engineering team and are looking for someone who enjoys being close to the process, not buried behind a desk.

You’ll be the technical backbone of quality on your shift. Supporting production, solving problems, and improving processes in real time. This isn’t a “clipboard quality” job. You’ll have real influence, modern tools, and leadership that values quality engineering as a driver of performance, not a bottleneck.

If you want your work to matter and your ideas to be heard; MasterMold is the place to do it.

  • Own PPAP & Core Quality Docs
Create, update, and maintain PPAPs, Control Plans, FMEAs, and process flow documentation.

  • Hands-On Inspection & Layouts
Perform part layouts using FARO Arm, applying GD&T standards to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Drive ISO 9001 Excellence
Support and strengthen ISO 9001 systems through audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.

  • Improve Processes, Not Just Report Issues
Identify inefficiencies, conduct inspections, and partner with production to raise the quality bar.

  • Use Data to Make Better Decisions
Track results, analyze trends, and help lead improvement initiatives that stick.

What We’re Looking For

You don’t need to know everything on day one but you do need curiosity, precision, and follow-through.

  • Sharp attention to detail, you catch what others miss

  • Experience with GD&T and inspection tools (FARO Arm experience a plus)

  • Quick learner who adapts to new processes and products

  • Collaborative mindset, comfortable working across departments

  • Clear communicator; Spanish/English bilingual preferred

  • Organized, accurate, and documentation-driven

What You’ll Get
  • Competitive Pay: $70,000–$90,000/year (based on experience)

  • Shift Flexibility: 2nd shift or overnight schedules available

  • Growth Opportunities: Advance as we continue to expand

  • Supportive Team Culture: Engineers, production, and leadership working together

  • Modern Tools & Tech: FARO arms, KEYENCE systems, 3D printers, and cutting-edge inspection equipment

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

  • Two or more years of experience in a manufacturing quality engineering or related technical role preferred.

  • Proficiency in GD&T interpretation, FaroArm operation, and ISO 9001 standards.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and quality data management systems.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Salary range: $65,000 – $75,000 (commensurate with experience)

  • Comprehensive benefits package including:

    • Medical, dental, and vision insurance

    • Short- and long-term disability coverage

    • 401(k)

    • Paid time off (PTO) and paid holidays

    • Professional development and career advancement opportunities

If you’re a motivated professional seeking to grow your career with an established and forward-thinking manufacturer, we invite you to apply today.
