Our client, a leader in their field, is seeking a Quality Engineer with a background preferably in chemical manufacturing for their Macon, Georgia location. This position will report directly to the Director of Continuous Improvement and Quality and will be responsible for coordinating activities to meet quality standards, customer expectations, monitoring and advising on the performance of Company's Quality Management System (QMS). The Quality Engineer will Define new or revised SOP's that encompass Global and Plant level documentation. Additionally the Quality Engineer will be responsible for Multi-site generation of data and reports on performance, and measuring against set metrics. This position will work with all manufacturing sites, labs and their Quality Managers in order to maintain a fully functional and optimized QMS system and Customer Feedback System. In addition, the Quality Engineer will work projects to continuously improve their quality processes.Qualifications: A minimum of a 4-year Bachelor Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Chemical Engineering plus 2-5 years of experience working in a production or engineering environment.Lean Six Sigma experience is a plusStrong verbal/written communications and interpersonal skillsAbility to communicate with all levels of the organizationExperience in manufacturing plants and processesSelf- motivated and able to demonstrate leadership, team, and individual contributor accomplishmentsThis company is offering competitive salary plus bonus based on qualifications for the position plus an excellent benefits package and relocation assistance.
