Job Description
The Quality Engineer participates in the development, execution, and oversite of products and processes used in the manufacturing environment to ensure robust and cost effective designs.
This role includes developing and helping to integrate systems that support compliance and traceability requirements in accordance with AS9100.

Education Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree in Engineering or applicable science degree. Master's degree a plus.
-Minimum 5 years experience with a Bachelor's degree or 2 years experience with a Master's degree.

Desired Skills:
-Quality Planning
-
Six Sigma
-Correction Action and continuous improvement
-Knowledgeable in quality software, quality systems and records.
-Experience with Metrology/Calibration
-Familiarity with AS9100 or similar quality system
-Strong understanding of how businesses work; is knowledgeable in current quality practices and makes recommendations regarding future policies and practices.
-Is aware of how strategies and tactics work in the marketplace.

Demonstrates a very advanced level of root-cause analysis
-Ability to solve complex problems and assist with the implementation of continuous breakthrough improvements.
-Must have advanced knowledge of product manufacture and inspection, testing and technology.
-In depth knowledge of problem solving methods and techniques
-Knowledge of process management, technical specs, regulatory guidelines and contractual requirements
-Excellent presentation skills
-Ability to independently determine and develop approaches to solutions while in compliance with policies and procedures.
-Ability to work in cross-functional teams
