  • Use statistical process control (SPC), measurement system analysis (MSA) and other data-driven tools to monitor process capability and drive improvements.
  • Create and maintain quality documentation, control nonconforming material, and ensure traceability and record-keeping meet regulatory and customer requirements.
  • Provide training and guidance to production personnel on quality standards, inspection techniques and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Electronics or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of quality engineering experience in electronics, electromechanical or manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and regulatory standards, specifically AS9100, EN13485 and ISO 9001.
  • Proven experience with root cause analysis, CAPA, 8D, FMEA, SPC, MSA and PPAP or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of inspection, test methods and metrology equipment used in electronics and electromechanical production.
  • Experience conducting internal and supplier audits and working with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Proficient with quality and manufacturing systems (ERP, PLM or QMS tools) and data analysis tools (Excel, Minitab or similar).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced production environment.
