Overview Job Title: Quality Engineer Location: Orrville, Ohio Type: Contract To Hire We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer in Orrville, OH. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to high-stakes nuclear projects, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive QA oversight of Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) and fabrication operations to ensure compliance with industry standards. Conduct audits, review procedures, and evaluate processes to maintain adherence to quality protocols. Review and generate final quality documentation, including inspection reports and quality packages, supporting compliance with regulatory and client requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance quality systems and troubleshoot issues related to product integrity. Ensure all activities align with nuclear quality programs, specifically NQA-1 and ASME standards. Qualifications & Experience Proven experience in nuclear quality assurance programs, particularly NQA-1 and ASME. Strong background in auditing, procedure review, and quality documentation management. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
