Job Title: Quality Engineer
Location: Staunton, VA

Position Summary
As a Quality Engineer, you will ensure that all products meet the required standards of quality and safety. You will analyze and optimize processes to improve quality performance and reduce defects. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying potential quality issues and implementing corrective actions.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure product reliability and consistency.
  • Perform root cause analysis and drive corrective actions for process and product quality issues.
  • Collaborate with the production team to reduce defects and improve production quality.
  • Conduct audits, assessments, and quality assurance checks on manufacturing processes.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in manufacturing engineering with a strong focus on automation and material handling.
  • Proven experience with FAT/SAT, automation systems, and material handling optimization.
  • Strong knowledge of automated systems and robotics in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset for troubleshooting automation issues.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and the ability to interpret technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with automation technologies including robotics, PLCs, and control systems.
  • Understanding of validation and qualification processes such as FAT/SAT.
