Are you an experienced quality engineering leader with a background in metal fabrication, machining, and assembly? Join our team and take charge of quality operations in a 750,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility employing 1,700 dedicated non-union workers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Engineering Strategy:
  • Develop, execute, and maintain processes and systems to ensure all products meet customer and corporate specifications.
  • Lead the design and implementation of a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify, validate, and lead manufacturing process improvements that enhance product quality and process yields.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence across the facility.
  • Leadership:
  • Oversee and direct the activities of the Quality Engineering Department, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and customer expectations.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 8 years in management of a Quality Engineering Department.
  • Solid experience in metal fabricationcommon machining, and assembly.
  • Background in large industrial facilities with at least 1,000 employees.
  • Preferred Candidates:
  • Individuals with experience living or working in rural Southern communities.
  • Excluded Industries:
  • Food & Beverage, Oil & Gas, Chemical, Plastics, and Electronic Assembly candidates will not be considered.
  • Job Stability:
  • No job hoppers—seeking candidates with a demonstrated history of long-term success in previous roles.
