JOB DESCRIPTION Perform various inspection and quality control operations of a visual, dimensional, and functional nature, making necessary critical observations, test or completing appropriate documentation. Levels within Job Name typically indicate years of experience, unique or special skill set, depth & breadth of NOV product knowledge, performance proficiency, ability to operate multiple machines, and/or the versatility of the employee’s skill set. Job Summary Perform various inspection and quality control operations of a visual, dimensional, and functional nature, making necessary critical observations, test or completing appropriate documentation. Levels within Job Name typically indicate years of experience, unique or special skill set, depth & breadth of NOV product knowledge, performance proficiency, ability to operate multiple machines, and/or the versatility of the employee’s skill set. Essential Job Functions Perform inspections on components, purchased parts, and/or finished products as required. Prepare inspection reports and maintain files of inspection documents. Review inspection records received for compliance. Maintain inspection and measuring equipment. Prepare and coordinate Non-Conformance Reports (NCR’s) for non-conforming parts. Maintain NOV guidelines on safety, quality, and delivery. Clean work areas as necessary to maintain cleanliness, health, and safety standards. Facility/Group -specific Responsibilities/Expectations Supports and contributes to facility goals. Provide feedback on process improvements, cost savings, and opportunities for efficiency and safety. Remain open to feedback and collaboration with other departments. Ontime attendance and timeliness. Eductational & Experience Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. 1+ yrs. Knowledge of standard measurement equipment and inspection processes is preferred. Three or more years of related experience and/or training preferred. Demonstrable experience reading and understanding engineering prints. Demonstrable experience of computer literacy and use of Microsoft Office programs. Non-destructive inspection experience preferred.
