MSR Technology Group DBA Infomatics has been an Inc 500/5000 corporation for the last 7 years in a row. We have an urgent need for Quality Inspector, and this is an Onsite role in Mountainhome, PA. Please find the job details below.


Title: Quality Inspector

Location: Mountainhome, PA

Duration: Long Term Contract

Pay Rate: $32 per hour on W2 with benefits


Education: HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/ technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience OR BA/BS degree in a related field of study with a minimum of 3 years of experience.


Work Schedule: Mon-Friday; 40hrs/ week; OT possible

Interviews: Virtual Zoom


Position Description:

What You Will Do:

  • Use various measurement tools (ex. micrometers, calipers, Optical Comparator, dial indicators, etc.) and other equipment to verify product dimensions with precision and validate quality compliance against appropriate specifications.
  • Perform inspection against blueprint and/or job instruction sheets to validate compliance of as-received, in-process, and completed/final components and assemblies.
  • Perform first article inspection in accordance with AS9102
  • Demonstrate proper use and maintenance of gages and inspection equipment
  • Document inspection results and maintain detailed records
  • Identify and report defects, deviations, variances and non-conformities in the appropriate system(s)
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues
  • Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action processes
  • Perform simple mathematical computations to determine pass/fail results based on allowed tolerance.
  • Perform administrative tasks associated with file management and material control
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality
  • Manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously


Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/ technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience OR BA/BS degree in a related field of study with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
  • Ability to pass visual acuity and color vision tests
  • Proficiency with blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation
  • Proficiency with precision measuring equipment
  • Basic Computer skills
  • Basic Shop Math
