Position Overview: In this role, you will conduct inspection of final assemblies and incoming components. You will transform challenges into opportunities! Essential Functions: Inspection of all final assemblies, incoming parts from outside suppliers, and nonconforming products. Provides technical support for production. Performs 1 st article inspections and vendor audits. Active participant in safety programs to promote a goal of zero injuries and incidents. Maintain ongoing communication and adhere to all company policies to eliminate and/ or reduce exposure to liability. What we are looking for: Self-motivated with strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with others. Requires knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems; requires an eye for detail. Competent in reading and interpreting blueprints. Competent in reading and interpreting blueprints. Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions and work rules/ procedures. Required Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. Verifiable experience with reading and interpreting blueprint drawings. Preferred Education and Experience: 2 year certificate/ degree. 3+ years of verifiable inspection experience. This is a production classification and employees work in a factory or warehouse environment with exposure to noise and machinery. The physical environment requires the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/ cold, wet/ humid, and dry/ arid conditions. Frequently required to use personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to hazardous materials. May be requested to work overtime and weekends. Physical Demands: Accurate hand/ eye coordination is required. Finger dexterity as well as hand strength with ability to grasp, lift, push and pull required. Work involves considerable climbing, twisting, bending, squatting, and kneeling for long periods of time.
