Overall Responsibilities Inspection of in‑house and vendor purchased products, raw materials and services; inspection of packaging and labeling materials used for medical device. Assist in operation of the manufacturing line while ensuring the highest quality and striving for efficiency and excellence in all endeavors, and adhering to all safety requirements. Position Duties and Responsibilities Perform routine and repetitive inspection procedures to ensure quality levels at various stages of production. Inspect incoming, in‑process, and finished products and materials for visual, mechanical, and dimensional characteristics using inspection sheets and applicable sampling plans. Compare obtained results with target values of the relevant requirements and specifications, documenting any deviations. Read and follow visual aids, engineering change notices (reworks), or established operating procedures to determine acceptance or rejection of product. Follow standardized and routine written directions and visual aids for assigned quality assurance inspection operations. Visually inspect products using magnifying glass, lot sampling methods, first‑article checks, and/ or AOI machines. Enter standardized information into the computerized MES system using simple keystrokes to indicate pass or failure of a board. Release lots and archive batch documentation. Prepare necessary documentation and ensure paperwork compliance on all inspected items. Assist in the training of co‑workers in new or improved techniques in areas of experience. Perform “Roving Auditor” functions involving inspection of product in a Manufacturing Flow Cell. Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor. Comply with and follow all procedures within the company security policy. Extended Duties (if applicable) Perform other related duties, as required. Job Profile Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. One year experience utilizing inspection techniques in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry. Experience with Microsoft PC applications. Experience with MRP / ERP systems. The hourly pay range for this role is $14.86 - $26.73. Job‑related, non‑discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity.
