Quality Inspector (QA/QC) | Solar PV | Dartford, UK | FreelanceJob Role – Quality Inspector (QA/QC)Industry – Renewable Energy (Solar PV)Duration – Project Based (Possible Extension)Location – Dartford, UKRate – Per/Day (paid in £)Type of Role – FreelanceLanguages – English proficiency required (B2 minimum)G2 are supporting an international EPC to recruit a Freelance Quality Inspector (QA/QC) to oversee quality assurance, compliance and documentation for a 70 MW Solar PV project located in Dartford, UK.Responsibilities:• Conduct QA/QC inspections across all Solar PV construction activities (modules, mounting structures, cabling, terminations, inverter stations, and HV/MV equipment).• Ensure full compliance with project specifications, ITPs, method statements, HSE requirements and UK installation standards.• Perform detailed quality checks including mechanical fit‑up, torque verification, string testing, continuity & insulation resistance checks.• Review, validate and track site documentation (ITPs, NCRs, check sheets, commissioning records, redlines).• Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure corrective actions are implemented and closed out efficiently.Requirements:• Completed qualification in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Renewables, or equivalent technical discipline.• Minimum 3+ years QA/QC experience on Solar PV, or HV/MV construction.• Strong understanding of UK electrical/renewable standards (G99/G100 knowledge advantageous).• Experience working with ITPs, NCR management, QA documentation and commissioning workflows.• Right to work in the UK + ability to be on‑site in Dartford.For more information please apply or send your CV to
