An automotive parts manufacturing company near the Mendota, IL area is looking for a Quality Manager. You will oversee the Quality Department and ensure all quality standards throughout the product development and manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have prior Quality leadership experience within an automotive parts manufacturing environment.

This is a full-time position with excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401 (K), paid holidays & vacation.

Responsibilities:

• Management of QMS system
• Collaborate with production and upper management for continuous improvement projects
• Maintain customer requirements and customer/supplier relationships
• Maintain Quality Department budget
• Oversee audits
• Handle shift meetings and Quality Control meetings

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or combination of education and relevant experience
• At least 3 years' experience in quality assurance leadership
• Experience with IATF 16949 is preferred
• Certified internal auditor is a plus
• Good time management and leadership skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Able to intermittently sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch and lift up to 30 pounds
