This role oversees 50+ associates, drives rapid response to quality issues, and ensures zero-defect escapes to the customer.What You’ll Do:Lead containment, inspection, sorting, and rework operationsManage daily performance of a 50+ person team across shiftsDrive root cause analysis (8D, 5 Why) and corrective actionsMonitor KPIs (PPM, scrap, rework hours, escape rates)Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 standardsAct as primary contact for customer quality issuesPartner with Production, Engineering, and Supplier QualityLead continuous improvement (Kaizen, 5S, layered audits)What We’re Looking For:5–10+ years automotive quality experience (OEM/Tier 1)3–5+ years leading teams of 20–50+ employeesStrong knowledge of IATF 16949 & AIAG Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA)Experience in containment, inspection, and rework operationsData-driven mindset (Excel, Minitab, etc.)Strong floor presence in fast-paced manufacturingPreferred:Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt) or ASQ Certification (CQE/CQM)Lean / Kaizen experienceMulti-shift or union environment experienceOEM system familiarity (GM, Ford, Stellantis, Toyota)Why MS Companies?
