JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Quality Manager (QM) is responsible for all aspects of ISO compliance and the establishment of internal processes/controls. The QM is also responsible for developing, implementing, managing, and maintaining effective Quality and Safety policies and procedures that meet contract requirements and the criteria for ISO compliance in all areas as well as company and government safety requirements.

MUST HAVE SKILLS:

  • Three (3) years of experience performing quality control in an industrial/technical environment.
  • Three (3) years of experience in administrative, professional, analytical or other work related to International Organization for Standard (ISO) programs or operations is also required. These can be concurrent time periods.
  • Must have knowledge of Safety standards and general experience in dealing with environmental issues.
  • Must possess the knowledge to maintain a quality management system in accordance with applicable ISO Standards.
  • Must possess broad knowledge of Army logistical functions and the ability to analyze, develop, evaluate, advise or promote improvements in logistical programs.
  • Must have strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have strong organizational and group presentation skills.
  • Well-developed multi-tasking and time management skills.
  • Must have computer literacy skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Possess a Valid Drivers' License without special restrictions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare, maintain, enforce, and update QC plans to drive performance using ISO 9001:2015 standards across the program and compliance with ISO 14001 standards in all areas.
  • Establish program objectives performance goals and assess progress.
  • Establish operational metrics/key indicators for process control and on-going quality process improvements.
  • Conduct root cause/corrective action analysis.
  • Performs additional relevant duties as assigned.
