Job Brief

Responsible for leading and maintaining all aspects of product quality program, ensuring compliance with company policies, ISO 9000 standards, and Quality Management System (QMS) requirements. Oversees quality documentation, record maintenance, and supports the development and continuous improvement of the Corporate Quality Management System.


Responsibilities

  • Administer and enforce Corporate Quality Management System (QMS) policies and procedures across all departments.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain QMS procedures and documentation in compliance with ISO 9000 standards.

  • Oversee company-wide non-conformance reporting, analysis, and Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) tracking; drive corrective actions to reduce defects and rework.

  • Manage and maintain the Calibration System, ensuring timely calibration and proper disposition of non-conforming measuring equipment.

  • Maintain the effectiveness of the QMS, including internal audits, document control, non-conformance records, CAPA systems, quality objectives, and welder qualification records.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Quality or 5 years' experience with Quality Management Systems in a manufacturing environment. (Preferred)

  • 5 year minimum experience in a supervisory position in quality or associated discipline

  • Experience and familiarity with quality assurance programs such as ISO 9000 and Statistical Quality Control.

  • Strong knowledge of company procedures and cross-functional processes including sales, purchasing, engineering, and production.

  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards such as NEC, UL, AWS, and similar regulatory requirements.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer applications.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact at all levels of the organization.

  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate projects and collaborate across departments
