Akima Intra-Data (AID) is looking for a Quality Manager to work in El Centro, California. To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today! Responsibilities Manages quality control activities designed to ensure continuous production/service consistent with established standards. Manages the development and analysis of statistical data and specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy. Formulates and maintains quality control objectives and coordinates objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other managers to maximize quality and reliability and to minimize costs. Develops and implements methods and procedures for monitoring work activities, such as preparation of records of expenditures, progress reports, etc., to inform management of status or work activities. Plans, promotes, and organizes training activities related to quality and reliability. Comprehensive knowledge of the field's concepts and principles. Leads and directs the work of other employees and has full authority for personnel decisions. Administers departmental policies and procedures, evaluates results and performance, and assists with the development of new or modified budgets, strategic plans, or policies. Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with contract requirements and ISO 9001:2015 standards. Prepare and enforce quality policies, procedures, and work instructions to ensure compliance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Conduct internal audits and inspections across all annexes and sub-annexes, with emphasis on Facility Investment, Ground Electronics, and Airfield Facilities/Air Operations. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and quality metrics for all functional areas. Coordinate with Government Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs) on quality assurance surveillance and external audits. Ensure timely resolution of non-conformances and implement corrective/preventive actions. Supervise and provide guidance to Quality Control personnel, ensuring they enforce QMS requirements on‑site. Maintain configuration control of quality documentation and ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements. Serve as the primary point of contact for all quality‑related matters with the Government and corporate leadership. Qualifications Must be able to pass a background investigation. High school diploma required. Bachelor's degree in a Technical or Business‑related field preferred. Shall have a current CMQ/OE certification and at least five years of experience in preparing and enforcing QMS programs on contracts of similar size, scope and complexity.
