Responsibilities

• Establishes, maintains, and enforces quality control systems, standards, procedures, and documentation across all products, processes, and inspections
• Leads plant‑wide QC operations, including daily inspector oversight, testing activities, data accuracy, NCR management, root‑cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions Directs internal, customer, and accreditation audits (including AISC), ensuring compliance, continuous improvement, and readiness for all external reviews
• Collaborates cross‑functionally with production, project management, scheduling, and leadership to resolve quality issues, generate SRM reports, and support special quality initiatives
• Manages staffing, training, certifications, and development for QC personnel while promoting a culture of safety, quality, and ongoing improvement throughout the organization

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, with at least four years of quality management experience in steel fabrication and strong knowledge of AWS D1.1 standards.
• Certified or previously certified AWS CWI, with Level II ASNT SNT‑TC‑1A experience in ultrasonic and magnetic particle testing and familiarity with NDT methods.
• Background in ISO or AISC audits or certifications; experience in the tower and pole industry is highly preferred.
• Prior experience in the Tower and Pole industry

Salary: $87k - $120k
