Then this Quality Manager could be the right fit for you.ResponsibilitiesThe Quality Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and continually enhancing the company's Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and API Q1 / API 11D1 standards. This position provides leadership, structure, and technical credibility to the organization's quality program while serving as the primary liaison with customers, certification bodies, and API auditors.This is a hands-on leadership role within a small manufacturing environment, requiring both strategic oversight and direct operational involvement.Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Management System (QMS) Leadership:Oversee and maintain the QMS in alignment with ISO 9001 and API Q1 / API 11D1 requirementsEnsure all procedures, work instructions, and records are properly controlled, up to date, and effectively implementedDevelop meaningful quality metrics (KPIs) and prepare input for Management ReviewLead Management Review meetings and ensure timely execution of action itemsISO & API Certification Management:Serve as Management Representative for ISO and API certification programsPrepare for, coordinate, and lead external audits (ISO 9001 and API 11D1)Manage corrective actions and nonconformances resulting from internal and external auditsMaintain certifications, including renewals, scope modifications, and surveillance auditsAudit & Regulatory Compliance:Develop and execute internal audit programs against ISO and API standardsTrain and support internal auditors as requiredConduct root cause analyses and ensure effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)Ensure ongoing compliance with customer, regulatory, and industry requirementsManufacturing & Inspection Support:Conduct and/or oversee First Article Inspections (FAI)Review and approve Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs)Support manufacturing through quality planning and risk-based methodologiesManage nonconforming products, including MRB activities and disposition decisionsCalibration & Measurement Systems:Establish and manage the calibration program for all QA/QC inspection and testing equipmentMaintain calibration records with traceability to national standardsEvaluate measurement system effectiveness and associated risksSupplier Quality Management:Support supplier qualification, evaluation, and performance monitoringDefine and communicate supplier quality requirementsParticipate in supplier audits and assessments as necessaryTraining & Quality Culture:Develop and deliver quality-related training programsFoster a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvementMentor supervisors and leadership on quality standards and API requirementsRequired ExperienceBachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or related field (or equivalent experience) preferred5-10+ years of quality experience in manufacturing (oil & gas strongly preferred)Direct experience with ISO 9001 and API Q1 / API product specifications (API 11D preferred)Technical CompetenciesDeep understanding of API Q1 requirements and audit expectationsInternal auditor certification (ISO/API)Experience with First Article Inspections and inspection planningStrong root cause analysis skillsExperience managing calibration systemsBenefitsDental insuranceHealth insurancePaid Time Off401(K)401(K) MatchingVision insuranceDirect HireSalary: $31-$35/hr DOE
