As a rapidly growing global manufacturer of residential and commercial products, Greenworks is leading the charge toward a more powerful and sustainable future. With over 20 years of research and development, including over 1000 patents in outdoor power equipment, power tools, and lifestyle products, we're pushing the limits of what battery technology can do to improve the quality of work and life.

Position Summary:

The Quality Manager is responsible for developing and implementing quality standards and protocols to support rigorous quality assurance testing across manufacturing operations. As the company's design and production activities are primarily conducted internationally, this role requires consistent coordination and communication between global manufacturing teams and North American customers. The position works closely with Greenworks leadership and plant personnel to ensure alignment on business requirements, product quality expectations, and performance feedback.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Quality Oversight & Reporting

  • Lead the development of reporting frameworks to track and analyze monthly product quality returns across multiple data sources, including customer returns, call center logs, online reviews, and trend analyses.
  • Provide actionable insights to support continuous improvement and cross-functional alignment.

Customer & Product Support

  • Serve as a key point of contact for customer-facing quality matters, communicating product issues, improvement initiatives, and service-related incidents professionally and promptly.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering teams to address customer concerns and implement corrective actions based on return data and field feedback.

Product Integrity & Compliance

  • Support the Product Integrity team by managing product liability cases, ensuring accurate tracking, documentation, and reporting.
  • Oversee product recall and rework activities, ensuring timely execution, thorough documentation, and compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • 5–10 years of progressive experience in manufacturing or quality management, with a strong emphasis on product development and process improvement
  • Prior experience in the Outdoor Power Equipment (OPE) industry is highly desirable
  • Proven expertise in supporting quality management systems, including warranty and returns analysis, as well as incoming, in-process, and final inspections
  • Demonstrated ability to test and troubleshoot electronic assemblies with precision and efficiency
  • Hands-on experience with consumer electro-mechanical products, preferably outdoor power equipment and/or power tools
  • Familiarity with Li-ion battery technology and its application in consumer products
  • Professional certifications such as ASQ, Lean, or Six Sigma are preferred
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly across teams
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; working knowledge of Microsoft Access and LabVIEW is a plus
  • Willingness to participate in off-hours teleconferences with international teams as needed
  • Fluency in spoken Mandarin is advantageous and preferred for cross-cultural collaboration

Travel Requirements

  • Travel may be required based on business needs, including occasional visits to domestic or international locations.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive annual base salary
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match
  • Paid time off including sick leave and vacation
