Job Details Salary: $85,000 - $105,000 per year A bit about us Thriving Manufacturing company seeks to add a Quality Manager to their team! This opening is due to the previous Quality Manager retiring. The ideal candidate will have a solid background with Quality Control and Manufacturing/Lean Manufacturing. You will be reporting to the General Manager but working closely with the Sr. Engineering Manager and Sr. Supply Chain Manager. You will be the main quality person working with the team, delving into understanding root causes of issues, helping create documentation, setting the standards, etc. This position is located in University Park, IL and will be 100% on-site, with hybrid flexibility down the line! Responsibilities As the main quality person, you will work with the team to understand root causes of issues, create documentation, set quality standards, and support continuous improvement efforts. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or related field) 3+ years of quality experience Manufacturing Industry experience, Fabrication, Welding, and/or CNC-Automatics Industry Must have experience with hands on problem solving, process documentation, training, & a layered quality auditing process Previous experience successfully implementing & training in Lean Manufacturing tools Proven knowledge of Quality Management Systems If you have a Six Sigma (Green Belt or Higher) - that is a PLUS!
