LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Quality Manager to join our client's organization in the South Elgin, IL area. Key Responsibilities Oversee and report on operational quality performance while partnering with internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate with operations and cross‑functional teams to execute business and manufacturing strategies. Establish and maintain effective quality disciplines, including product qualification, process controls, statistical methods, supplier quality assurance, and continuous improvement. Ensure systems, validations, and controls support smooth transitions from development to production environments. Implement corrective and preventive actions that support ISO‑compliant quality systems. Develop and track departmental metrics, goals, and performance indicators. Provide leadership in Lean initiatives to drive waste reduction across operations. Manage product shipping activities to ensure accurate, timely deliveries with strong customer impact. Perform additional duties and special projects as required. Key Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in operational quality within a manufacturing environment. Minimum 5 years of people‑leadership or team‑management experience. Experience with Lean concepts, including hands‑on implementation of Lean tools and initiatives. Strong background in quality systems, problem‑solving methodologies, and continuous improvement. Demonstrated leadership, communication, facilitation, and influencing skills. Ability to navigate complex operational environments and lead teams with minimal supervision. Bachelor’s degree required; technical degree preferred. Advanced degree desirable. Experience with ISO certification and compliance preferred.
