Job Title: Quality Manager In this role, you will manage a team of three quality technicians and be responsible for communicating with customers regarding quality issues. You will collaborate closely with machinists and engineers across two facilities, focusing on Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Responsibilities Manage a team of three quality technicians. Communicate effectively with customers regarding quality issues. Collaborate with machinists and engineers between two facilities. Oversee the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP). Utilize Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) in quality processes. Essential Skills Minimum of three years of management experience as a Quality Manager. At least three years of experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Three years of experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), no programming experience needed. Proficiency in quality assurance and quality management. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in developing and implementing quality systems. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Work Environment You will work in a dynamic environment, managing three quality technicians with overlapping shifts into the second shift. The shift hours are 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, and 10pm-6am. The company has recently invested in a $2 million gauge lab equipped with advanced technology such as a micro CMM (.6), two Zeiss CMMs (1.6), and OGP optics. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sussex, WI. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr.
