The Opportunity: We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead and strengthen our Quality program within our manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring products meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements by owning the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a strong culture of quality across the organization.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can balance strategic oversight with day-to-day execution, collaborate effectively across departments, and confidently engage with customers and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, including audits and document control
  • Lead, train, and develop QA/QC staff; oversee daily department operations
  • Serve as the primary quality contact for customers; manage complaints, nonconformances, and corrective actions
  • Lead root cause analysis and ensure effective corrective actions
  • Oversee supplier quality performance and corrective actions
  • Collaborate with Operations and Engineering on process controls, inspection plans, and acceptance criteria
  • Support new product introductions and process changes
  • Analyze quality metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Promote a proactive, prevention-focused quality culture on the manufacturing floor

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Hands-on experience managing an ISO 9001 QMS
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving skills, and ability to work collaboratively across functions
  • Robust working knowledge of corrective action systems, internal auditing, and process control.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office; ERP/MRP experience a plus

Preferred Qualifications

  • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification
  • Experience in high-mix, low-volume manufacturing
  • Familiarity with electronic document control systems
