Full-time•On-Site Monday to Friday Required Experience:Senior Level Location: Ronkonkoma, NY 11779 Expires: Nov 29, 2025 The Quality Manager is responsible for all quality operations within the company, including quality assurance, quality engineering, AS9100 compliance, and the administration of the quality management system. The Quality Manager is also responsible for quality performance measurement and driving improvement throughout the enterprise via identification of product and process nonconformances and implementation of robust root cause and corrective actions. The Quality Manager is the primary contact for all quality related issues and to represent the company with suppliers and customers. Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a Quality Supervisory role. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Expertise with ISO9000, AS9100, and other quality standards. Capable of reading and interpreting complex drawings and blueprints. Knowledge of mechanical systems, GD&T, and familiar with standard testing tools, micrometers, protractors, calipers, height gages, and optical comparators. Ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form with all levels of management and employees. Ability to read, write, and speak in English proficiently. Regularly exercises independent judgment and discretion about matters of significance. Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite. Job Responsibilities Lead all quality functions and be the driving force and voice behind a high-performance quality culture. Establish and maintain a quality management system which meets the requirements of AS9100. Report on the performance of the quality management system and opportunities for improvement. Drive performance improvement throughout the enterprise through robust performance measurement, metrics, and established KPIs. Develop and maintain a high-performance supply chain via collaboration with Strategic Sourcing. Primary interface to customers and suppliers for any quality related issues. Identify quality related risks and mitigation during the bid process and contract review processes. Review purchase orders, engineering datasets, test plans for compliance. Provide technical reporting and analytical expertise in evaluating warranty and non-warranty repairs. Develop, train and assess employees and sustain required staffing levels to execute the company's business. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
