Quality Manager Apply
What you will be doing:
- Formulate and maintain quality control objectives.
- Coordinate quality objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other plant managers to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.
- Direct employees engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products.
- Plan, promote, and organize training activities related to product quality and reliability.
- Investigates and resolves customer complaints.
- Oversee internal and external audits relative to ISO standards. Prepare formal reports.
- Outline product deficiencies and suggests corrections. Tracks corrective actions until discrepancies are resolved.
- Review all product analysis from the various departments to determine the existence of any quality problems.
- Follow incoming inspection requirements as needed.
- Coordinate quality system non-conformance issues with the appropriate manufacturing department personnel and/or suppliers to achieve acceptable resolution.
- Evaluate and supervise assigned customer complaints. Works with the appropriate department personnel to resolve the complaint.
- Conduct FMEA and PFMEA in support of new designs and/or continuous improvement projects.
- Performs other related duties as required or assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise non-supervisory employee(s).
- Interview and train employees; plan, assign and direct work; appraise performance, reward and discipline employees; address complaints and resolve problems.
- Work with Human Resources on employee issues.

Requirements
What you need:
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, or a related technical field (required).
- Seven or more years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, performance testing, or a related field (preferred).
- Master’s degree in a relevant field could substitute for years of experience.
- Three years of supervisory experience (required).
Computer Skills
- Intermediate: Database, programming languages, spreadsheet
- Basic: Word processing/typing, presentation/PowerPoint.
