Location: Onsite at Tamarac, FL

Job Type: Direct Hire/Full Time

Manager Intake NOTES:

**Do not want people with Medical work experience too structured.

- Process improvement efforts for org to grow to next level- Create Inspection test plans, we don't have this for all parts/sku. (This is a document that tells the inspectors what they are going to change in each part, what instrument is going to be used, where to sort).

- Serves as a backup for another employee

- Needs Problem solver - take customer complaints and bring it down to documentation to be sure A3 is structured, finding the root cause to ensure everything is in order to be presented to a customer.

-Either one will work to solve a problem. It's a structured process.

-A3, 5 whys, Ishikawa - common tools- problem-solving meetings with root cause analysis

-8D corrective action plans follow-ups (typically used in auto industry)

-Experience with 5S must!!

i.e. By implementing a lean 5S system - sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain - organizations can create a clean, well ordered, and disciplined work environment. Many companies implement only the first three steps, hoping the last two will automatically follow.

-Lean Manufacturing tools or TPS - nice to have

-MS Projects, Excel

- We use: SPC - measures process and Gage R&R

1. Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience.

2. Effective written and verbal communication skills.

3. Experience with 5S

4. Proven ability to lead through teams and be an effective team member.

5. Experience in quality management systems and Total Quality Management concepts.

6. Ability to plan and direct own work with minimal direction.

7. Proficiency in basic Lean Manufacturing tools or TPS

8. Knowledge of statistical tools for problem-solving, process measurement, process control, and process improvement (e.g., SPC, Design of Experiment, Process Capability, and Gage R&R).

9. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (including MS-Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Project Manager).

10. Working knowledge of Minitab statistical software (or similar)

11. Lean Six Sigma experience / projects

12. Certified Quality Engineer (ASQ

Education:

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (mechanical engineering or similar).
