Job Title: Quality Safety Manager
Position Summary:
The Quality Safety Manager is responsible for ensuring ISO compliance and establishing internal processes and controls. This includes developing, implementing, managing, and maintaining effective Quality and Safety policies that meet contractual requirements, ISO standards, and government safety regulations.
- Prepare, maintain, enforce, and update QC plans using ISO 9001:2015 standards and ensure compliance with ISO 14001 standards.
- Set program objectives, performance goals, and assess progress.
- Establish operational metrics and key indicators for process control and continuous quality improvements.
- Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions as needed.
- Serve as the primary contact with the Government, managing operations at the installation level.
- Attend briefings, conferences, and other meetings as required or requested.
- Serve as a member of the Installation Year-End Close-out Army Working Capital Fund Control Committee.
- Interview, recommend job applicants, and provide guidance to section leads for successful contract execution.
- Perform additional relevant duties as assigned.
- Oversee all Quality Evaluators and ensure quality across projects.
- Walking, standing, sitting, and moving about the property for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Indoor and outdoor environments with possible exposure to external conditions.
- Noise levels can range from minimal to intense.
- Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in quality control within an industrial or technical environment.
- 3+ years of experience in administrative or analytical roles related to ISO programs or operations.
- Knowledge of safety standards and environmental issues.
- Broad understanding of Army logistical functions and experience in analyzing and improving logistical programs.
- 15+ years of management experience in Army logistics operations.
- Financial management and knowledge of Army logistics information systems.
- Strong leadership, organizational, interpersonal, and group presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Additional Requirements:
- Valid Driver's License without special restrictions.
- US Citizenship.
- Ability to obtain a favorably adjudicated National Agency Check with inquiries (NACI).
- Experience with Microsoft Access.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- ISO 9001-2015 Lead Auditor Certification.
