We deploy experienced quality professionals throughout the United States and in over 90 countries to support client and supplier sites on demand.We are seeking one Electromechanical Source Inspector (Level 2) to perform source inspections at multiple supplier locations in Northern Los Angeles County, Ventura County, and Santa Barbara County.This is a flexible, part-time or full-time role, averaging 3–5 days per week, where inspectors may accept or decline individual inspection requests.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform source inspections at external suppliers and special processorsConduct in-process and final inspections, including witness inspections of critical featuresCompile final inspection sign-off sheets and inspection packagesVerify inspection equipment and methods are appropriate per drawing intentReview justification for parts not inspected at final inspectionAudit execution to approved inspection plans when applicableVerify hardware cleanliness and absence of FODVerify safety wire installation per specificationMeasure tight-tolerance parts on a surface plate using hand toolsVerify supplier product protection, preservation, and shipping documentationRequired QualificationsExperience performing electromechanical inspections in an aerospace or regulated manufacturing environmentAbility to read and interpret drawings, work instructions, procedures, and schematicsHands-on experience with hand inspection tools and surface plate inspectionAbility to work independently at supplier sitesU.S. Citizen and able to pass a criminal background checkPersonal vehicle required for local travelPreferred QualificationsPrior experience performing source inspections at supplier facilitiesAerospace or defense manufacturing backgroundExperience inspecting electromechanical assemblies, including wiring, connectors, and mechanical interfacesFamiliarity with special processes (e.g., plating, coatings, external processing)Experience performing witness inspections and verifying inspection plansStrong documentation skills and experience completing inspection packages or sign-off sheetsAbility to work independently in supplier environments and communicate findings clearly50% hourly rate for any travel time ("p2p")Mileage reimbursement at the US gov't rate ($0.725 per mile driven).
