About Us

SBA Home North Carolina - The first production facility in the USA by SBA Group, a furniture manufacturer from EU member in Lithuania, with operations started in 2025. Over 250 talented professionals will work here and build their careers. It is a highly robotic and automated factory with products reaching millions of homes in the US. Today we are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Specialist to support and enhance our manufacturing quality systems. This position plays a key role in employee training, policy development, audit participation, and quality reporting. The ideal candidate is passionate about continuous improvement, compliance, and maintaining high product and process standards in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Quality Assurance & Control
    • Monitor manufacturing processes and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards
    • Conduct inspections and verify adherence to specifications and procedures
    • Identify nonconformities and support corrective and preventive actions
  • Training & Development
    • Develop and deliver quality-related training for employees
    • Ensure team members understand quality standards, procedures, and best practices
    • Maintain training records and certification documentation
  • Policy & Documentation Management
    • Prepare, review, and maintain quality policies, procedures, work instructions, and training materials
    • Ensure documentation complies with company standards and regulatory requirements
    • Control and update quality records and manuals
  • Audits & Compliance
    • Participate in internal and external audits
    • Prepare audit documentation and support audit activities
    • Assist in addressing audit findings and implementing corrective actions
  • Reporting & Continuous Improvement
    • Compile and analyze quality performance data
    • Prepare regular quality reports for management
    • Track key quality metrics and improvement initiatives
    • Support continuous improvement projects to reduce defects and waste
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with Production, Engineering, Purchasing, and Technology teams
    • Promote a culture of quality throughout the organization

Requirements

Qualifications:
    • High school diploma or GED required
    • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred
    • 2–5 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control within a manufacturing environment preferred
    • Experience in furniture, wood products, or similar industries is a plus
  • Skills & Competencies
    • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
    • Experience creating policies, procedures, and training materials
    • Knowledge of quality systems (ISO 9001 or similar standards preferred)
    • Proficiency in MS Office and quality/ERP systems
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
