Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Quality Technician role in Biddeford, ME. Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and a commitment to delivering the highest quality products. With a focus on continuous improvement, they pride themselves on maintaining excellence at every stage of their manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:
· Perform in-process and final product inspections to ensure compliance with company standards and customer specifications.
· Conduct testing and measurement of materials and components using precision tools and testing equipment.
· Document and maintain accurate quality records, inspection reports, and test results.
· Identify non-conforming materials and assist with containment, investigation, and corrective actions.
· Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce defects.
· Monitor production processes to verify adherence to established quality procedures and standards.
· Assist with internal audits and ensure compliance with quality management systems (e.g., ISO standards).
· Calibrate and maintain inspection and testing equipment as required.
· Communicate quality concerns effectively with production, engineering, and leadership teams.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company policies.

Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical certification preferred.
· Previous experience in a manufacturing or quality role preferred.
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
· Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection instruments.
· Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
· Proficiency in basic computer applications for documentation and reporting.
· Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong communication and teamwork skills.
· Familiarity with quality systems and standards (ISO or similar) is a plus.
