Quality Technician Apply
Tests and inspect products at various stages of production process. Evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products. May specialize in a particular area of quality control, such as incoming material inspection, set up inspection, PPAP’s, or final inspection.
Requirements
· Advanced blueprint reading skills
· Ability to read and understand work instructions
· Must be able to use hand tools such as micrometers and calipers
· Ability to use optical equipment such as comparators and OASIS machine
· Must be able to use profilometers and microheights
· Advanced computer skills
· Good working knowledge of various computer programs such as Vantage, SPC, Word and Excel
· Ability to use gages (go-no-go gages, thread gages, St. Mary’s’, Talyrond, hardness testers, microscopes, etc.)
· Basic math and reading skills
· Ability to understand visual standards
· Ability to learn and adapt to changes quickly’
· Must be able to multitask
· Ability to prioritize
· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
· Must be able to push and pull up to 50 pounds.
· Ability to stand 8-10 hours per shift
· Safety minded at all times
· Must be able to read and understand basic English
· Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers
