Overview We\'re looking for a hands-on Quality Technician who takes pride in catching the small stuff before it becomes big problems. If you\'re the kind of person who notices when something\'s off, speaks up, and helps fix it, you\'ll fit right in here. This role is right in the middle of the action on the shop floor. You\'ll work closely with production, keep our quality systems on track, and make sure what we ship meets expectations every time. What You\'ll Be Doing Keep our quality processes documented, trained, and actually followed Run through daily/weekly/monthly quality checklists (and stay on top of them) Lead monthly quality training for production employees (keep it practical and useful) Perform internal audits of our quality system Track trends, dig into root causes, and help improve how we do things Complete inspections and tests, such as: Coating thickness checks Torque & tension testing Oven profiles Layered process audits Handle testing and calibration (viscosity cups, temp guns, pH probes, calipers, etc.) Work with the Quality Manager to resolve non-conformances and hold tags Stop production when needed if quality is at risk (and back it up with facts) Check in weekly with the Quality Manager to review what\'s going on What You Bring Strong communication skills—you can talk to anyone on the floor and get your point across You follow processes and aren\'t afraid to hold others accountable Calm under pressure when things get busy or something goes wrong A team-first mindset—you want to improve things, not just point them out Flexibility for schedule changes or overtime when needed Requirements High school diploma or GED 2+ years in a quality role (metal finishing experience is a big plus) Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Nice To Have Additional education or training in Quality Management Physical & Work Environment You\'ll be on your feet, standing, bending, reaching, and moving throughout the day Lifting up to 50 lbs regularly Working around chemicals and varying temperatures, typical of a metal finishing shop We\'ll provide reasonable accommodations where needed Why This Role Matters Quality is what keeps our customers coming back. Schedule Ideally, this role would work Monday through Thursday, 9:00 am – 6:00 pm, and Fridays, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm , in order to provide support to our 2nd shift.
