Quality TechnicianThe Quality Technician / Visual Inspector is responsible for supporting Brennan Industries' quality assurance objectives by performing inspections and verifications throughout the production process. This role ensures products meet internal quality standards, customer requirements, and applicable specifications while maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with established procedures.Job Duties & Responsibilities:Conduct First Article, in-process, incoming, and final inspections in accordance with quality procedures and work instructionsRead and interpret engineering drawings, part prints, specifications, and customer requirementsPerform visual and dimensional inspections using appropriate measuring tools and gaugesInitiate and document Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) / Material Rejection Notices (MRNs) as requiredVerify corrective actions and confirm rework meets specifications prior to product releaseApprove finished products by confirming specifications and inspection resultsEnsure all inspection tools, gauges, and equipment are available, properly maintained, and within calibration requirementsDocument inspection results, nonconformities, and quality data in internal databases, logs, and quality systemsSupport continuous improvement initiatives by identifying trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for quality enhancementsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company and safety standardsPerform other duties as assigned by the Quality Assurance ManagerKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:Proficient in basic computer skills and standard business softwareAbility to accurately use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gaugesStrong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects and deviationsEffective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to organize work, prioritize tasks, and exercise sound judgment within established guidelinesAbility to understand and follow written and verbal instructionsFlexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentKnowledge of standard office and inspection equipmentEducation & Experience:High school diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum of 1 year of experience in a quality inspection or manufacturing inspection role preferredExperience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a plus
