Job Title: Quality Technician I

Duration: 12 Months + Possible Extension
What You'll Do:
As a Quality Technician I, you will be vital in supporting quality assurance activities and ensuring product compliance with quality standards and specifications. You will assist in the warranty return inspection and documentation of products and processes to maintain quality and drive continuous improvement.
Functions:
- Inspect warranty return products according to established procedures, specifications, and standards.
- Perform visual inspections to verify product conformance and identify non-conformities.
- Record inspection results accurately and completely, documenting findings, measurements, and observations in warranty records and databases.
- Assist in the identification, segregation, and disposition of non-conforming materials and products, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Participate in quality audits providing input and feedback to enhance product quality and performance.
- Follow safety protocols, procedures, and regulations while performing warranty assurance activities, ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and others.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of experience in quality assurance, inspection, or a related field, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Basic knowledge of quality management principles, practices, and tools.
- Familiarity with inspection techniques, measurement tools, and quality control methods.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Proficiency in using measurement tools and equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in performing inspections, tests, and documentation.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Technical training or certification in quality assurance, inspection, or related areas.
- Experience with quality management software/systems (e.g., ERP, QMS).
- Knowledge of ISO standards and regulatory requirements.
- Previous experience in a regulated industry (e.g., medical devices, aerospace).
