Quality Technician Apply
Quality Function Perform various quality functions within a manufacturing environment. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: INCLUDING ALL, BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING: Check parts using various gauges and test equipment Pull drawings and other necessary documentation to check parts Basic Blueprint reading Conduct Component and Teardown Audits Perform basic Microsoft Office Programs Maintain Quality Databases Motor troubleshooting Calibrate and track gages and measurement equipment Operate CMM and Faro measuring devices Process scrap Communicating with Engineers and Supervisors Operate fork truck Inspect and process parts orders Incoming inspection Roaming inspection COMPETENCIES: TECHNICAL/FUNCTIONAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE: Minimum Strong attention to detail Dependability Communications Skills Ability to lead project teams Preferred 3 yrs Quality Experience Experience running CMM or computer driven systems Basic Computer skills Ability to read a blueprint Experience working with a team Ability to independently complete technical reports QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or GED Good communication skills Verbal and written Ability to use basic gauges Preferred Qualifications: Previous employment in manufacturing 3 yrs Experience in a Quality role or equivalent Ability to work in a Team setting Proficient in utilizing a CMM Ability to identify part and identify critical tolerancing PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
