Job Description
Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for a Quality/Test Engineer 3. The work will be done onsite in Mossville, IL. This is a long-term position that can lead to permanent employment with our client. Compensation is up to $46/hr + full benefits (vision, dental, health insurance, 401k, and holiday pay).
Job Summary
The Quality/Test Engineer 3 will support the evaluation, testing, and validation of products, systems, and components to ensure quality, reliability, and performance standards are met. This role focuses on investigating product issues, analyzing failure data, and collaborating with engineering teams to identify root causes and implement improvements. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to enhance product quality and support continuous improvement initiatives. This position offers hands-on exposure to real-world engineering challenges in a collaborative and technically driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Investigate product failures, warranty claims, and technical issues to identify quality improvement opportunities
• Develop and implement testing procedures, sampling methods, and data collection processes
• Analyze quality and reliability data and prepare reports for internal stakeholders
• Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical issues and improve product performance
• Support training, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives related to quality processes
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (Associate degree with relevant experience considered)
• 5–7 years of experience in quality engineering, testing, or related roles
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics
• Experience with data analysis, troubleshooting, and quality reporting tools
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with electrical, hydraulic, and software troubleshooting
• Familiarity with tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and CAN (J1939) communication
• Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies and quality improvement processes
• Experience with CAD tools or engineering-related software
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills
